Newborn Care Solutions Website Notes

Newborn Care Solutions

Website cleanup notes for Julie

A short public-facing punch list from the items Daniel mentioned to Tonya. These are meant as practical cleanup notes, not a full site critique or redesign recommendation.

Quick Pass

Items I would clean up first

These are the obvious, low-drama fixes that can make the site feel cleaner without touching the underlying architecture, plugins, Oxygen setup, course platform, or larger navigation strategy.

Rechecked from the public site on May 22, 2026. Some items may already be in progress or intentional internally.

Footer link

The footer logo appears to link to https://newborncaresolutionsnew.mysites.io/. That URL did not resolve during my check, so I would point the footer logo back to the live homepage.

Quiz URL

The main navigation items Where to Begin? and Training Path Quiz currently point to https://ncsquiz-drwrkmhv.manus.space/. The quiz loads, but the URL looks temporary. If it is staying public, I would move it to an NCS-branded path or redirect.

Public test pages

The public sitemap still includes /test/, /test01/, and /test-page/. If those are not meant for visitors or search engines, I would redirect, remove, or noindex them.

Duplicate terms

The sitemap includes multiple terms pages: /terms-and-conditions/ through /terms-and-conditions-7/. I would confirm the canonical legal page and remove, redirect, or noindex the duplicates.

Caregiver path

On the homepage, the caregiver card uses /services/caregivers/ while the button points to /services/for-caregivers/. The first URL redirects correctly, but both should point directly to the canonical page.

Menu placeholder

The header/menu markup includes http:// as a link destination. If this is only a mobile menu trigger, it should be replaced with a proper button/anchor behavior so it does not register as a malformed destination.

Small copy fixes

A few quick copy items: mother of two children.. has a double period; upon successfully completed the training should likely be upon successfully completing the training; newsletter/footer Sign In may be clearer as Sign Up; and the footer copyright still says 2023.

Two Light Paths

If they want Daniel to handle more than a note list

Julie may be able to handle many of these directly. The only question is whether they want her spending time chasing small public cleanup items, or whether they want a contained outside pass.

Option 1: Site Polish + Link Cleanup Pass

$950 · 3 to 5 business days

A contained cleanup pass for the obvious public-facing trust leaks.

  • Broken, malformed, or staging links
  • Public test pages and obvious noindex candidates
  • Small typo and copy fixes
  • Footer, menu, and destination cleanup
  • Quick check of the main course, booking, and contact paths

Option 2: NCS Authority + Architecture Snapshot

$1,250 · 3 to 5 business days

The cleanup review plus a light map of what the public site should become before any larger rebuild conversation.

  • Homepage and main navigation read
  • Public sitemap and URL groups
  • Course, booking, form, and external exits
  • Visible WordPress/Oxygen/plugin setup
  • Audience paths for caregivers, parents, agencies, and events

Suggested Positioning

Keep this framed as helpful cleanup, not a takedown.

The stronger frame is that Newborn Care Solutions already has real authority, and the website has accumulated public-facing complexity over time. This first pass is just about cleaning up visible loose ends before touching anything deeper.

Guardrail

No redesign, no plugin updates, no theme changes, and no live architecture tinkering without a separate diagnostic or access plan.
